Integration of stories
The work places multiple scripts from the series into a single reading system, with both the main story and side quests using character dubbing. Reading does not rely solely on the current chapter: information, character experiences, and information from different stories need to be gradually cross-referenced, making chapter management an important part of this integrated version.
Chapters and Q&A
The system provides plot flowcharts and recap functions; Additionally, there is a "Shrine Shock" quiz, with ten questions per round, each time limited to six seconds. Different difficulty levels correspond to different story categories, allowing players who already know the story to adjust their reading pace by answering questions. It has two different functions compared to the choice branch within the story.
Version History
This game supports save data interplay between PS3 and PS Vitta. After being published by Kaga Create on March 12, 2015, Entergram relaunched the product on April 3, 2017; According to the official explanation, both have identical game content, save files and trophy data can be carried over, and re-releases cannot be regarded as another story remake.
Nineteen chapters and multiple perspectives
Suihui gathers content from consoles such as festivals and knots, containing nineteen stories. Onikakushi, Wataryu, and Susatsu unfold from Keiichi's daily life; Returning to Showa 53 (1988), Memei turned to Shion, while Zenden, Kagebo, and Kaisai expanded their investigations to Kakiuchi and urban life.
The campus and the people of the village
Keiichi spends time with Rena, who cares for him, and Mion, who works in the organization club; Rika and Satoko are underclassmen, and Chie is responsible for teaching. Shion works part-time at the Xinggu restaurant, and the disappearance of Satoru and Teppei's return trigger her story with Satoko; Doctor Irie, nurse Takano, and detective Oishi connect to other living spaces in the village.
Clear character relationships
Mion and Shion are twin sisters; Satoshi is Satoko's older brother, and Teppei is her uncle. Kumagai is a subordinate of Nobuyori Oishi, Okamura is close friends with Tomita, and Akasaka and Tomoe assist in investigating village cases at different stages.
Q&A and cross-archiving
Level 4 Oyashiro Shock quiz presents ten questions within sixty seconds to unlock chapters through the level. PS3 and Vita can transfer save files; all nineteen main and side stories use full voiceover, and there are over 200 event CGs on screen.
Shame and the era span
The Shy Show Arc is the first gamified version of the festival's limited edition short stories, supplementing daily life with pool comedy. The Yoigoshi arc returns to the village more than twenty years after the disaster, while the Kotoshiki arc tells the story of a ghost-hunting girl during the Onigabuchi Village era, offering perspectives different from the main era.
Reissued in 2017
ENTERGRAM resumed digital distribution on April 3, 2017, clearly stating that it is the same software as the Kaga Creative Edition released on March 12, 2015. Existing buyers can download it again, and trophies and archives are compatible.
Kakiuchi's classmate and detective
Natsumi, who moved to Kakinai, lived with her parents and grandmother, and was in the same class as Chisato, Tamako, and Akatsuki; Chisato and Tamako are old friends, and Akatsuki has known them since childhood. Tomoe serves as a detective in the First Criminal Division, partnering with Fujita to solve cases; His younger sister Madoka works in the Traffic Section and is engaged to Chief Yamaoki.
An old acquaintance of the Akasaka father and daughter and Tomoe
Akasaka came to Kakiuchi to investigate the Hinamizawa disaster and raised his daughter Miyuki alone during the period described in the archives. Osamu Tsukada is Tomoe's senior in high school and now serves as the second secretary to a member of the Diet; Hanada was Ba's former subordinate and, along with Fujita, assisted her in the case.
Appearing in the Yoyo Arc
In the Yoigoshi arc, Otobe and his roommate Yae arrive at the village where the lockdown has been lifted, where they encounter a woman in a kimono named Sonozaki Mion in the rain. Freelance writer Miyuki Sorimachi prefers outdoor reporting and has developed an interest in village stories.
The old hand family and the ancient setting
Characters related to Kotoshiki include the chief priest Furute Riku, Hanyuu, and their daughter Ouka. Sakura can detect the invisible Hanyuu and is protected by the Sonozaki and Kimiyo families. Another character profile introduces Hai=ryun as a Monitor who transcends the walls of the fifth dimension, capable of shifting between physical and virtual forms.
Three new songs added
The theme song 'Side Effect' performed by Kanako Yuitou; Ascension is performed by Ayane and Kanako Ito, with lyrics and music by Chiyomaru Shikura. Grand Ending: Hitotsu no Inochi performed by Ezo Uema Uema, with lyrics by Rak Ganryoku and music by dai and Luck Ganryoku. The March 4, 2015 FVCG-1335 includes recordings of three complete vocals, off vocals, and two types of choral practice recordings.
The order in which the library is opened
At the start, you can only choose 'Heunggung Police Station Case Report.' After reading all the stories in a library, the final chapter opens and a new library opens; Each story has its own conditions for appearing.
"Fragment Weaving" appears in the "Fragment World" library. Reading specific short chapters can unlock the main chapter, and the screen will show the fragment acquisition and unlock conditions.
Questions and answers were exchanged with the library
Q&A levels 1 to 4 correspond respectively to "Heunggong Police Station Incident Report," "Metropolitan Police Department Public Security Department 7th Division Investigation Files," "National Police Agency Public Relations Office Management Materials," and "Fragment World." Reaching the number of passing questions at the selected level unlocks the corresponding book library.
Chapter review and jump
On the Vita version, press the triangle key to open the message browser, allowing you to view both previously read text and content read after the current location. Then press the triangle key to open the section list, and move the L and R keys to the previous or later chapters or select points.
Reading settings
Auto mode adjusts text speed, but lines with voice will wait until the voice finish before proceeding. Skip mode can be set to read only or to include text that has not yet been read.
Archive and footage
Both platforms offer 100 save locations. The PS3 manual requires the hard drive to have at least 203KB of space and offers screen display range adjustment; The Vita manual requires a dedicated memory card to have at least 1024KB of space.
Cross-platform archiving
Cross-platform saves in the manual can be uploaded and downloaded online; PS3 and Vita must use the same Sony Entertainment Network account. The download overwrites the data already available on the receiving end.
Vita touchscreen operation
On the Vita touchscreen, you can select items, release your finger to confirm, or lightly press to advance text. Scroll down to hide the message window, swipe up or tap Resume; The touch menu also includes auto, skip, message browser, and skip buttons for pre- and back-to-back chapters.
Transmission of Influence: Life After Moving
Natsumi's family moved from Okinomiya to Kakinai, and about a year later, she was already used to traveling and working with friends. Akatsuki's confession happened amid this gradually stable urban life; News of the tragic incident in her hometown on TV interrupted her joy.
Shadow Spinning Section: Dashi initiates an investigation
The opening takes place just days after the Hinamizawa disaster in 1983. Oishi visits his old acquaintance Akasaka and points out suspicious aspects of the disaster, prompting the two to begin a joint investigation.
Jie Dan Chapter: Ba's position at the time and the former jurisdiction
In the autumn of 1982, he was seconded to the Kakiuchi Police Station as a quasi-professional member of the National Police Agency. The mysterious death that triggered the investigation occurred in the Ibaraki Prefectural police district where she previously worked, prompting Nagisa to ask this familiar detective for help.
Waiting to answer in advance during the Q&A
Each question has a fixed six-second time slot: even if you finish early, you must wait until the six-second period ends before moving on to the next question; If you fail to answer within the time limit, you will be forced to change the question. After the entire round lasts sixty seconds, the system determines whether the pass is based on the correct answer rate.
