A gathering in the name of witches

Six men and women travel to Strasbourg to attend a class reunion held under the name "Mist Witch." What should have been a trip to review their shared life is instead attacked by the vehicle the man was riding in; When they woke up, they were trapped in the old mansion, having lost their memory. The women who entered the hall afterward seemed unable to understand their situation.

Memory and identity

The tension between men, the attitude of lovers, and undisclosed pasts make the incident more than just how to leave the mansion. Who is hiding the truth, which memories should be recalled, and how a person confirms their identity after amnesia—all together form the core of the suspense.

Two-part structure

The work is divided into the main story and 'The Side Story,' with the latter supplementing the case from another perspective. It retains some character settings but is a separate story from "Mirage Mansion"; The official team used to provide only this part for free, but since February 2014, it has been fully free.

Class reunion and collective amnesia

Six men and women accept an invitation from the alumni reunion signed by the Mist Witch and return to Strasbourg, France, where they once lived together. The men's car was attacked, and when they woke up, they were already in the old mansion, having lost their memory; Unaware of the situation, the woman arrives later, deepening mutual suspicion and concealment. The work revolves around nine characters.

The relationship with the Mirage House

According to the developers, this work borrows some character settings from 'The House of Fata Morghana,' placing them in a modern standalone story. It is a work that can be read independently; there is no requirement to read another work first, nor can it be regarded directly as a main sequel.

This article and the truth behind it

The work consists of two short stories: the main story and 'The Side Story.' This story is a closed suspense story, expected to last two to three hours; Including the second part, the total time is four to five hours. Before February 14, 2014, only this part was free; afterwards, the developers switched to distributing the entire series for free.

Music, visuals, and programming

Keika Haena was responsible for the script, direction, and script programming; Taro Ai was responsible for character design; and Mayo Kamiya handled individual CG and packaging illustrations. Moriya Kosei and Mellok'n provided in-game music, Gao provided songs, and (Dai) Demon King design logo. The engine is Girigiri, and the original author uploaded the page listing Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, and NT.

Character display during the original waiting period

Recalling the development of "Mirage House," Hiao said that while waiting for the original work to be completed, the team showcased characters through demo versions, four-panel comics, and "Erasmus on the Mist," hoping readers would not forget the work.
