Script assembly and revision for Tsukihime R
In a 2021 interview, BLACK said the script first followed the Elquet route, then the Sierre route; As the image material increased, he returned to the previous route for polishing. Figures are only arranged side by side when close to the subjective viewpoint; otherwise, perspective and positioning are used to show distance. For temporary material assembly, I first hand it over to Nasu for inspection, then continue adjusting; The event CG was broken down into characters, backgrounds, and special effects layers, recombined. Kiyobee also customizes the editor environment to make it easier for him to assemble.
From trial group sketches to supplementary event footage
Tsukihime R's CG was initially constrained by the storyboard budget, BLACK and Koyama participated in the planning meeting, and then cut to the predetermined number; Expression differences allow for more work. A CG of Aoko touching young Shiki wasn't originally part of the plan. BLACK tried assembling Takeuchi's sketch into the script, thought it worked well, and then proposed to add it, which was approved. The two thugs in the department store don't have character illustrations; instead, they use flashlight movements seen by Shiki to express their personalities.
