Kasuga in Fujikawa City

The story begins in Fujikawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, where Fujibayashi High School welcomes spring. Naoki Serizawa hopes to continue getting along easily with Chinatsu Amakawa, whom he has known since childhood, and his school friends; Chinatsuya frankly calls herself "Nao-kun's bride," and their close relationship forms the starting point of their daily lives.

The arrival of Xia

The mysterious girl Nagumo Kasumi suddenly appears before Naoki and begins living with him in secret. She trades losing her home for Naoki's future, causing her peaceful campus life to fall into chaos; The story revolves around the trust between Naoki, Chinatsu, and Kasumi, as well as the increasingly emerging conflicts in their memories.

Swing line

The development team wanted to design a choice method different from traditional options, inspired by the previously released STEINS; GATE》Phone Trigger Inspiration Forms the "Swing System." It is connected to Naoki's pinky promise, as well as the long-established relationship between him, Chinatsu, and Kasumi.

Works and Ported Versions

The game was originally launched on the Xbox 360 platform in July 2010, followed by versions for PSP, PS3, and PS Vitamin 2. The photo gallery mode on PS3 and PS Vita includes bonus illustrations not previously available on the PSP; Therefore, the additional content varies across platforms. Character design was handled by Shizuki Morii, and the official review stated that the series introduced a new screenwriter and adjusted the series' visual style.

Naoki and two young girls

Naoki and Chinatsu Amakawa were second-year classmates at Fujibayashi High School, and they were cousins and had a childhood engagement. The engagement was later dissolved, but Chinatsu still habitually called herself his wife. Kasumi traveled from afar to Fujikawa, using Naoki's future as a bargaining chip to demand a stay, making his daily life difficult to maintain.

They met at school

The new math teacher, Hoshizuki Orihime, is relatively short and often asks Naoki to help clean the blackboard, earning her the nickname 'Teacher Hime' among students. First-year Kodo Shimei, Naoki and Chinatsu have known since middle school. She enjoys campus news and photography, and beneath her lively demeanor, she also has a serious side in her work.

The work of Fuuryu-an

Fuuryuan is a new type of store tried by the Rosak chain, with Shin serving as the acting manager. Naoki met Lisa, a short-term American exchange student while working, who loves Japanese history and culture. In the previous work, Saga Toru had graduated from Chengkong but did not get into university, earning money at the shop to pay for tutoring.

Figures and production

Shizuki Morii was responsible for character design, Tsuyoshi Abo for music, Yusuke Matsumoto as director, and Taro Shibata as producer. Chinatsu, Kasumi, Orihime, Lisa, and Shimei are voiced by Yui Kano, Yuu Kobayashi, Ai Nonaka, Kanako Sakai, and Saori Hayami, respectively; Although Naoki is cast as Nobuhiko Okamoto, the specifications still specify that all voices except the protagonist are listed.

Different versions of the opening

The Xbox 360 version was released on July 29, 2010, with Zwei performing 'The Paradox of the Little Finger.' May 26, 2011: PSP version reintroduced Melody of the Wind; PS3, Vita version re-added: Phantom Mobius. The playlist includes game-length recordings, instrumental versions, and original songs, organized separately.

Songs and character soundtracks

The original ending credits are sung by Nao, with lyrics by Shinichiro Yamashita and music arranged by Takeshi Arai. The first disc of the PS3 limited edition has 26 tracks, with Abao Gang responsible for most of the music and character music box variations; The instrumental version of 'The Paradox of the Little Finger' was composed by Chiyomaru Shikura and arranged by Tsuyoshi Abo.

Fengliuan Plus and Sound Drama

Plus had Naoki and the female lead assist in shooting commercial photos, with selection and reviews centered around outings for photo shoots. Chinatsu and Kasumi are early selectable characters; the others are unlocked according to the main story's route. The limited edition also includes seven voice dramas: two each for Chinatsu and Shimei, and one each for Lisa, Kasumi, and Orihime.

Chinatsu & Kasumi common route: Found living together

When Naoki was feeling unwell, Chinatsu came to pick him up and found that Kasumi was already living with him. She immediately called her father, only to learn that he had long known and had given permission. Chinatsu then announced that she would move in as well.

The timing added by the original system

In a discussion published in 2026, Shibata recalled the 2010 Xbox 360 original work, where Chiyomaru Shikura requested the addition of a new selection system. The team added the 'Yubikiri Trigger' when the game was already quite complete.

The order in which the character images and materials are finalized

During the original development of the Xbox 360 in 2010, the director first provided Shizuki Morii with a rough character design, and after the sketch was completed, he supplemented the character information based on the images; Character design and text setting are arranged in this order. Character names must also be approved by the producer; The director's proposal was finalized after repeated rejections and alternative proposals. The birthday was set late, so the team tried to avoid birthdays of existing characters in the series.

Evaluation of achievement proposals

The achievement proposals proposed by the director were reviewed by members familiar with the achievement system within 5PB, who would reject inappropriate proposals and provide suggestions for modifications.
