Inconsistent living conditions
Each participant's PDA displays different clearance conditions and provides maps, basic rules, and special features. Obtaining someone else's terminal does not directly inherit their clearance qualification; the initial assigned terminal remains the basis for judgment. Participants are also restricted by the activity area, holding terminals, and not removing collars without authorization, so cooperation always involves information asymmetry.
Numbering and special roles
Usually numbered from A to K on borrowed playing cards, plus the 14th Joker. Joker's terminal can disguise numbers, and the clear conditions vary depending on the disguise target, meaning conflicting numbers may appear on the field. Repeaters who have experienced other sessions may also participate; The experience they possess is different from that of ordinary forced participants.
Remake scope
Yeti explicitly refers to this work as a revised and remastered version of the 2011 PC version: the first installment adjusted the ending, the second part significantly rewritten, and added new chapters and character backgrounds. The official website also states that it strengthens its connection to KILLER QUEEN. The chapters, endings, and series connections differ from the original and this remake.
Original author and adaptor
FLAT provides the original work, developed by Regista, and published by Yeti; Nakazawa served as director and producer, while Kyoichi Terazuki served as senior producer. The new script is written by Team Tsukishima, with members including General Manager Tsukishima, Moyashi Hinata, and Tora Tsukishima. Original script: Other Signatures: Ajishio Rockets, Masaki Nanami, Ryu Ou, and Arata Juhara; Character design and key animation by Rinta Hayakawa, Ikuse, Sokuwa.
Students entering together
Shuhei and Kotomi come from Nishisogi Academy and are childhood friends; Yuna and Yui are from Funabashi Girls' Academy. Yui accidentally damaged her PDA at first, unable to read even her own release conditions. Shuhei's No. 4 condition requires the prime-numbered person's condition to be met, while Hatsune's Q requires everyone to survive. Similar goals do not mean there is no conflict in actions.
Waste the supplies in the village
Weapons and food in Aweicuo Village are scattered in concealed locations, and participants can use PDAs to read memory chips to find supplies. Device capabilities also affect encounters: Shuping can disable special functions within ten meters, Yuna can disable PDAs within one meter, and Hatsune can detect PDAs within twenty meters.
Proposal handover for PSP adaptation
In 2013, the PSP adapted 'Rebellions' into early script work, with original staff handing over route memos, and Hinata and Tora preparing a simple plot case; After Tsukishima joins, the two of them brainstorm ideas together to build the story after B.
