December Film Research Club

Half a year has passed since the summer reunion, and CUM Lab is preparing to compete in February the following year, busy with film shooting. The complicated club life keeps everyone together and gives them a chance to rethink their own feelings. The story clearly continues from the previous CUP research ending.

Asuka and Mahiro

Asuka Hina, carrying large luggage, arrived at Haruto's residence, hoping to stay temporarily. This sudden request disrupted the original arrangement. Meanwhile, Masuma Sendou talks to Shin Inahi about her argument with Haruto, but Shin asks if they are really dating; Understanding and expecting relationships became new conflicts.

Multi-perspective storytelling

In addition to the protagonist, the story also presents events from the perspectives of other characters. Readers can understand the same relationship by combining what different characters see, and club filming and personal feelings become intertwined.

PSP version content

The PSP version was released on September 17, 2009, retaining partial voice acting for the protagonist and full voice acting for other characters, and can be used as PSP wallpapers by capturing CG. The limited edition includes a newly recorded radio drama "The Strange Tale of Chiwadani in Midwinter" and a postcard; The script is written by Masashi Takimoto, Naotaka Hayashi, and Haruhisa Kujira as advisor, with music by Tsuyoshi Abo.

Time and perspective

The epilogue does not continue with all the main story's endings, but starts from the last cut. Different character perspectives participate in the narration; Akina Ichijo is a newly added character in this game.

Characters and voice acting

The cast list includes Haruto, Mahiro, Asuka, Akina, Kazuki, Shuji, and Yusuke Yoshin. Akina is voiced by Minori Chihara, Shuji is Daisuke Kishio; Original main characters continue to use their respective character entries.

Pre-release short stories and high-definition compilations

PSP '#5' adds an Afterstory connection between the main game and this game, illustrated by Kotaro Aizawa. 2025 FanDisc Historia HD inclusion encore; Performed by Ayane in the series of 'Proof of You Were Here'.

Historia Edition: Mako's Responsibility After Filming

After Maxon and Haruto became lovers again, Haruto was injured during filming. She works hard out of a sense of responsibility and hopes to be truly accepted by CUM research partners.

Historia Included Edition: Two reconciliation branches

At the end of Mahiro's route, she reconciles with Asuka's mother. The other Asuka's route depicts the reconciliation between Asuka and her mother, with the two outcomes belonging to different branches.

Production interruptions and re-releases

Shibata recalled that when KID went bankrupt, the game was still about a month and a half before completion; Matsuo explained that the original artwork was still being produced, and after learning it had closed, he continued to draw. Subsequently, Cyberfront acquired the rights to the old KID titles and decided to continue releasing games that had already achieved some of the results, allowing this title to be released under the Cyberfront name on PS2.
