The planner and characters of 'Love Language Amrilato'
Koji Minagawa conceives the story of a girl who doesn't speak a language in "Amrilato," starting from the question of why protagonists in isekai stories can have normal conversations. J-MENT suggests using Esperanto to represent unfamiliar languages, and Minagawa believes it suits the isekai world and adopts it, while also encouraging players to learn gradually with the protagonist.
Minagawa didn't want Rin in 'Love Language Amrilato' to be similar to Ruka, so he portrayed Rin as a lively girl who could gradually break new ground in unfamiliar environments, and modeled her after female track and field athletes. Chisa Naruse recalled that Minagawa also wanted to brighten Luka's hair color, and she modified the design according to this request.
During voice selection for "Amrilato," Minagawa chose Shu Uchida and Emi Brido-Cut-Sera Emi to play Ruka and Rei respectively because they could clearly handle English pronunciation, to handle the Esperanto dialogue in the show; Rin was assigned to Juri Nagatsuma, who excelled at portraying girls with a tomboyish side.
Visuals for "Love Language Amrilato."
Minagawa referenced real locations around Yokohama Shin-Sugita Station and the Shonan seaside as references for "Love Language Amrilato," hoping the otherworld would be close to reality while preserving its distinctions. Chisato Naruse also recalled that inserted images flowing from top right to bottom left better suit the manga reading experience, but the game text starts from the left side; After discussions and conflicts over this direction, both sides have yet to find a solution to adjust.
