Language and script production for 'Amrilato'
According to Koji Minagawa's review, when "Amrilato" wanted to depict language barriers in the other world, J-MENT proposed using Esperanto. Minagawa believes this plan is suitable for the isekai and adopts it, hoping players will gradually learn together with the protagonist.
To write 'Love Language Amrilato,' J-MENT first searched for dictionaries and textbooks at regular bookstores, but the available books were limited, so he went to the Waseda Esperanto Association to buy the necessary books. The project team explained that this visit later led the team to invite Kenichi Fujimaki through the association to take on the language supervisor role.
During the production of "Love Language Amrilato," J-MENT first translated the content of what Ruka and Rei had proposed into Esperanto, then handed over the temporarily completed script to the supervisor; He estimates that about 80 to 90 percent of the time will need correction. If the correct translation exceeds the language Rin can understand at that stage, the story must be rearranged, and if necessary, the entire scene must be rewritten. In 2019, when reviewing language supervision, he also explained that Kenichi Fujimaki would provide various forms of expression, so sometimes his submissions were longer than the original.
The dialogue in "Love Language Amrilato" is first drafted in Japanese, then the corresponding Esperanto expression is exported, and finally the required word macro is displayed in the message window. While writing scripts, J-MENT also creates a learning mode operating environment, making it difficult to calculate the exact script writing time separately; He confirmed that the overall time was longer than initially expected.
The character of Rin written by J-MENT in the internal simplified draft of "Love Language Amrilato" gradually influenced the writing of this story, making the character appear more carefree and carefree.
Text-Image Collaboration with "Memoraĵo"
During the production of the Love Language series, Chisato Naruse explained that character design revisions mainly came from J-MENT, while event images required more back-and-forth communication. J-MENT reviewed that some scenes had undecided backgrounds when drawing began, or drafts changed after a period of time; Naruse-kai requested detailed procedures and written documentation. In "Memoraĵo," he also used Naruse's illustration of Ruka in front of the fence as a key hook in the script.
"Memoraĵo at some point" was later added as a sequel project and was initially rejected by J-MENT; It was only after receiving another invitation that he decided to join the production.
