Work in 'Armored Demon Muramasa'
He is responsible for the movie 'Armored Demon Muramasa,' which is included in the official collection 'Armored Demon Muramasa: Evil Thoughts Arc.'
Division of information between game scripts and graphics
When Yuichiro Higashide talks about game scriptwriting, he uses background transitions to convey information about scenes and character movements, thereby simplifying the corresponding explanations in the text.
Character positioning and subject matter inspired by 'Ayakashibito'
Higashide sets 'Ayakashi Bito' as the starting point for the Japanese-style 'X-MEN' and adds legendary elements. Starting from a gentle senior shrine maiden, the knife adds an unusual inferiority complex, creating a gap between outwardly perfect appearance and inner vulnerability; Tonia's cold and sharp tongue is used to arrange a position in the daily character group where she can go against Rin Kisaragi.
Amateur writing and commercial scripts
Yuichiro Higashide first tried fan fiction for Leaf's works, then after encountering "Phantom" and "Tsukihime," he began writing original stories. He recalled that his first commercial scriptwriting work was part of the script for "Tekoire Purinsesu," and at that time he also tried to incorporate comedic elements.
Exchange with Steel House Jin
Higashide and Jin Kouya had known each other since their amateur creative days. He described their interactions as being inspired after reading each other's works, rather than being directly influenced by their writing style. Steel House once invited him to join Nitroplus, but Higashide already had a regular job at the time and declined.
Adapted to early FGO writing
Higashide recalls that in the early stages of Fate/Grand Order, battles had to be arranged in every segment, and location movements were restricted by chapter transitions, with writing styles different from previous scripts. He later dug up 2014 materials and found that some Servant settings had already been rewritten when officially launched.
Variations in the length of Apocrypha
After the online game plan for Fate/Apocrypha was discontinued, the publisher invited him to write a short story. Higashide and Nasu Kinoko discussed and organized the concept using timekeeping, eventually expanding the plan into a long work.
Supervisor at Samurai Remnant
During the production of "Fate/Samurai Remnant," Higashide supervised the Master and Servant he was responsible for, and also worked with Hikaru Sakurai to examine the worldview.
Lancer's creative proposal
Higashide proposed a concept for Lancer in Fate/Samurai Remnant, whose appearance evokes existing characters but whose actual identities are different. Sakurai agreed with this idea, and Nasu agreed to adopt it.
