A reunion in the apartment
Michelle manages an apartment in his parents' place, where he meets people who have been connected to him in the past. The characters remember not just ordinary childhood memories, but also medieval mansions, curses, and the long years that followed; As a result, the new life is still influenced by old relationships.
Memories and new life
The Modern Edition continues the existing experiences of this story and the series. The changed era and identity allow the characters to reconnect, but memories of past lives do not automatically erase past conflicts. The apartment becomes a stage for several groups of characters to reconnect in their lives.
Production and dubbing
The Modern Edition was produced with the participation of the original production team, featuring new visuals, music, and character voice acting. Michelle is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai, Giselle by Masami Seto; Maiden, Mel, Nelly, Xingya, Pauline, Jacob, and Maria also participate in this chapter. The console compilation covers the modern edition with voice acting.
Included version
This new chapter was first included with the Vita COLLECTED EDITION, released on March 16, 2017. Later, DREAMS OF THE REVENANTS EDITION expanded its console release, with the PS4 version launching on October 24, 2019, and the Switch version on March 25, 2021.
