Recommended reading order for the original edition
Nakazawa Takumi recalls that the recommended reading order for Tsugumi, Sora, Yuu, Sara, and Coco was determined after the scripts were roughly completed, not the writing order; He lets the opening sequence showcase the characters, hoping players will remember the same order.
PSP version: The opening of the final chapter of Coco
After completing the happy endings for Tsugumi, Sora, Yuu, and Sara, the PSP version prompts that the final chapter is open, allowing players to continue onto the final chapter.
The knowledge range between the protagonist and the player
Nakazawa limits the protagonist's prior knowledge, allowing him and the player to face the unknown, surprise, and confusion simultaneously.
The original two Wu chapter endings are named after them
Nakazawa recalled that the "Good End" in the Tsugumi and Kuu arcs was originally just a temporary name he filled in for the program management ending checklist, but later forgot to change it. When staff questioned this claim during debugging, he decided to keep it and explained these endings as the final conclusion of the Coco Chapter.
2005 Windows DVD: Perspective and Ending Diverge
The Premium Edition Windows DVD guide puts the viewpoint selection in the prologue. After choosing Take's perspective, you can enter the Tsugumi or Sora arc; if you choose the boy's perspective, you enter the Yuu or Sara arc; The character paths are first divided into two groups based on the protagonist's perspective, then progressed through subsequent choices.
In the Takeshi Perspective, if you choose Tsugumi and Sora without favoring either side, May 7 will result in a shared bad ending for both stories. This branch can also recover excellent CG, so besides the good ending, there are image records that need to be read separately.
If you choose 'Don't Know' or get three wrong answers in the Decoding segment for Youpian on May 3, it will end badly on May 7. The Saro arc split at the starting point of the search on May 6: the good ending plan for the strategy was to first find Zweito Stock, then switch to DritutStock, which leads to a bad ending.
2005 Windows DVD: Coco Chapter and Epilogue
After completing the good ending for all four, the Coco arc will introduce new choices; Some choices also require the current run's flag to remain in the Coco arc. Both Takeshi and the Boy can serve as entry points to this route, and the two developments converge after the May 3rd "Scarred Body" segment, continuing the shared Coco arc.
After completing the Coco arc ending, read the good endings of the Tsugumi or Kura-hen chapters, and a corresponding epilogue will appear after the staff list. Yuu and Sara's epilogue is directly followed by the staff list with their happy endings, so you need to distinguish between these two orders when reading.
2025 Edition: First Round Restrictions and Epilogue Entry
According to Kiri Kiri Basara's 2025 guide, you must first complete either Tsugumi or Sora's route in the first round, and only then can you enter Yuwa Sara's route in the next round.
After the good ending for Coco, the guide instructs players to return to the EXTRA on the title screen and select "BW Side." There is no option for this ending; after reading it, you reach BW Route – Grand Ending.
2025 Edition: Normal and Forced Skip
The guide lists the standard skip operations as the PC E button or the controller's right shoulder button. Holding down the PC's Ctrl key or the left shoulder button on the controller forces skipping text, skipping unread text as well.
