"1/1 Boyfriend and Her" is a romance adventure game by SMEE, where the protagonist meets at different stages of life, from student to working adult. During his student years
The student chapter begins with helping a friend's romantic relationship. The protagonist and Emi Fujinotani work together for those around them. What started as a collaboration that creates opportunities for others gradually builds an equal and close relationship between them. This line uses mutual support and walking side by side as the starting point for the development of the relationship.
Entering the workplace
After entering society, the protagonist begins to consider a way out due to the worsening work environment. Choosing a private tutoring side job means meeting Qingmiya Chijin; When embarking on new company ventures, he would approach Colette Carlini, the daughter of the parent company president. The developer's blog explains that this stage can skip any romantic branches and continue progressing to the next age stage.
Meeting as adults
The protagonist, 26 years old, has a crush on the café owner, Takeko Izumi, but hesitates to act. A blind date unexpectedly led him to meet her face to face, shifting their relationship from regular customer to shop owner to private interaction. Unlike the student arc where they help others together, this storyline revolves around active pursuit, mutual understanding, and how adults start dating.
A timeline jump before falling in love
The game doesn't start with four characters becoming classmates at the same time. Missing out on student romance will progress to the early stages of work, and then to the mid-twenties; At this stage, before establishing a relationship, she ended up single. The age of 26 describes the protagonist's stage, so it is not appropriate to determine Izumi Taeko's age based on this.
Dubbing and theme song
The four actors are voiced by Sachi Tsumugigi, Yuki Miu, Mei Misono, and Yuki Kitaoji. Yuu Hayase, screenwriter Kono Hanashina, Netty Tire performed the opening theme song 'The Day That Fell in Love'; Ore Date uses a date arrangement mechanism.
The planning process of chronological structure
In a 2021 development interview, Uto Takumoto explained that the project came from Hayase Yuu, and he accepted the proposal because of its age-crossing approach. No revisiting the arrangements of the previous female lead
The 2021 PC version development log states that the female protagonist of the student arc will no longer appear in the adult arc. Uto Zhaimoto explains this arrangement as a trade-off of attention: not showing the life of the unchosen partner, allowing players to focus on the current female protagonist.
