Transitioning from stage performances to writing
During her student years, Kamitsu Kirini developed a passion for stage coordination due to her part-time job performing on the Hero Stage, and later went to Tokyo to study film. After graduation, Kamitsu Kireiny worked while accumulating scripts, but due to lack of funds, she was unable to make an independent film and instead wrote novels; After about three years of submissions, he won an award for 'Thus He Decided to Burn the Rooftop.'
Iterating on the manuscript for 'The Witch and the Hound.'
When writing the novel "The Witch and the Hound," Kamitsu Kireiny and the editor changed the initial concept of the witch and dinosaur to a combination of the witch and the hunting dog. After the fourth edition of the plot was approved, the author, influenced by Game of Thrones, proactively rewrote it, but the story shifted toward a struggle for the throne, deviating from the original focus of gathering witches; After multiple adjustments, the fourteenth version of the plot case was finally re-approved.
Met novel illustrators through VR projects
Kamitsu Kireiny met LAM during the production of "ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos." Upon learning that LAM wanted to try light novel illustrations, she invited LAM to draw witches for "The Witch and the Hound." LAM's painting of a woman with red background and camellia earrings also helps the artist form unfinished visual impressions of the character during writing.
