Koichi Nakamura is the game creator involved in the development decisions of "Ogirikusa."
The direction of audiofiction
In a 2016 interview, he recalled that the team wanted to develop works that would engage those who were not skilled in complex operations, making reading and key choices the main operations.
Sound and production scale
At that time, more employees were involved in Dragon Quest V, so the new game adopted a format that required fewer people to complete; SFC's sound sampling capability is used for horror effects such as glass sounds and screams.
Subsequent works
Many players of "Brother Grass" expressed a desire to experience the mystery genre, so the team contacted mystery writers to advance the later "Night of the Sickle".
Request to increase reading interaction on the street
According to Kazuya Asano's recollection, Koichi Nakamura requested the addition of player intervention about half a year before completing "Street." At that time, ZAP had already switched, and the team subsequently added TIP; Word explanations are further developed into content that can trigger switching and connecting stories.
The background of the original work was changed to a real-life photo
Looking back at the production of 'Kamaitachi no Yoru' in 2024, the original SFC originally planned to use the pixel background technique from 'Otogirigusa,' but Koichi Nakamura decided to switch to importing real photos, resulting in images combined with silhouettes of the characters.
A retouch-up photo of '428'
According to Ishiijirou's recollection, if Kana had already reached a bad ending in '428,' he shouldn't have continued to appear in the photo of the phone call before 109. The team created a composite image of Koichi Nakamura making a phone call to replace the original photo. However, Ishii also pointed out that after handling it this way, the strict reasons why the pursuer no longer pursues may still have minor plot contradictions.
Kamaitachi no Yoru is the original song title
According to Asano's recollection, most of the official song titles on the original soundtrack of 'Kamaitachi no Yoru' were given by Koichi Nakamura, which differs from the provisional titles during the composition stage.
