The main theme of unstable time signatures
Takeshi Abo conceived the main theme in the post-World War III world and Okabe's struggle from despair. Six beats and four beats are interspersed in seven beats, which he uses to intensify feelings of unease and imbalance.
The ending and the original theme
The end of the piece introduces a phrase from the original "GATE OF STEINER." Abao Gang uses continuous modulation to portray drifting along the world line, allowing the main melody to musically return to the theme of the previous work.
Completed earlier and revised repeatedly
Abao just recalled that the theme melody was completed around the third piece, because the subsequent derivative needed it. During production, he repeatedly set aside, relisten, and revise the material, gradually finalizing the form.
