In a 2014 interview titled "Mystery F Detectives' Curtain Call," Asada explained that MAGES. had long been negotiating a port with Abel but had no producer to take over; he took over after hearing about this when he joined the company. At that time, the development continued to follow about 70% of Sugano's outline, preserving the overall process, development, and conclusion, and asked Abel, who had worked with Kanno for a long time, to write the script.
In a 2014 interview published in 'Mystery F,' Asada explained that after reading the manuscript he received, he discussed possible writing styles for Kanno with the screenwriter. He also avoided merely imitating the article's appearance, hoping to develop new stories while preserving the original flavor.
Removal of the art and Kinect program
In a 2014 interview published in 'Mystery F,' Asada recalled discussing the art of redrawing with Abel and gave up on the idea that Aoi Nanase's illustrations for the second work were nearly complete. He also reconsidered resource use and removed the Kinect feature he had envisioned at the time.
Proposals for sequels and additional routes for "Double Imagination."
After Makoto Asada requested a new work from Taro Shibata, the team decided on the direction of "Twin Thoughts" from several sequel projects, with Sae and Nene as the two main female leads. Before the title was announced, Asada proposed adding horror elements, increasing the original plan of five female characters to six; Shibata then commissioned Kidain Shin, who happened to have a free time to produce the work.
Commissioned by YU-NO to remake the soundtrack
Asada chose Yonaokeishi for the remastered version of "YU-NO" because he understood the characteristics of Ryu Umemoto's original compositions; Another invitee, Ryu Takami, also collaborated with Umemoto for a long time. Yonao recalls: the official soundtrack commission arrived in mid-January 2015.
