Phiroid's emotional maintenance mechanism

The operation of old-style Phiroid depends on specific emotions: Madd stops when he loses his anger, and Tipi stops when he is no longer sad. Rei thus understood why Shiona stopped him from comforting Tipi.

Harmonia

"Harmonia" is a sci-fi kinetic novel produced by Key. After the war destroyed the environment, the boy Rei woke up in an abandoned facility, mistaking himself for an artificial life form named Phiroid because of his mechanical right hand. He is brought to the town by Shiona and receives a name. Through interactions with her, the library girl Tipi, and the townspeople, he learns emotions and gradually discovers his own origins and the true identity of the townspeople.

はちょ

Hacho credited the album "Harmonia" as a cover recording of JUKEMATA's "To the Eternal Star," guitar performance.

Shiona(Harmonia)

A girl living in a still-functioning village church. Rei took in Rei, who liked to sing in churches and squares, often using colors and shapes to describe people's emotions.

Tipi(Harmonia)

A girl living deep in the library, constantly crying. Most books from the surrounding era have been digitized, but libraries still preserve paper books; Shiona calls her the blue child.

Madd(Harmonia)

A strong man who runs a grocery store, skilled at meticulous repairs, finds tools from abandoned factory junkyards, and sells them after repairs. Impatient temperament and quick to anger.

Rei(Harmonia)

A boy waking up in an abandoned facility, seeing the mechanical right hand, mistook himself for Phiroid and went out to find humans, where he was taken in by Shiona and named by her. The latter part reveals that he is human, and his mechanical right hand is a medical prosthetic used after battle injuries.
