Training new members
Gumi, who transferred from St. Yale, practices sniping under Tonghua's guidance, and Reina and Maki have also recovered from their injuries. Another young applicant, Sengoku Taiga, wanted to join the A-class combat class, and Haruto approved the transfer under the condition that Chris would supervise. Seemingly difficult to cooperate, the two gradually come to understand each other through their shared life.
Crisis and old memories
An unprecedented large-scale terrorist attack suddenly erupts across the country, and Chris rushes to the scene alone. The death toll continues to rise, while SORD is constrained by the situation and unable to act freely. Her actions echo a past experience, and the memories left by her mother are woven into this choice. The conflict between caring for others and risking danger becomes the central focus of this volume.
The narrative of volume four
This work continues the personnel changes after volume three, with Akio Watanabe continuing to handle character key animation and Ryuta Fujisaki handling the script. The official classifies it as a non-branching Kinetic Novel: characters do not enter different romantic paths based on player choices; the story unfolds in a fixed order, focusing on quests and past connections among members.
Mihama at the start of the semester
Kei Kuma Shiro transferred from St. Yale and continued to practice sniping with Tonghua; Reina and Maki had also recovered from their previous injuries. When the class reorganizes their training life, Sengoku Daya, an elementary school student from the engineering department, hopes to join Class A, which is responsible for dangerous missions.
Chris and Daya
Haruto set the condition that Chris would serve as Daya's superior, responsible for supervision and education. Their personalities and life experiences differ, but this led them to start living together. Chris excels at computer-related work, does chores, helps classmates with their studies, and continues her role in the class by caring for the younger freshmen.
Attacks and actions
An unprecedented scale of attacks occurred domestically, with casualties continuously rising. The organization is restricted by the situation and cannot act freely, but Chris still rushes to the scene. The current crisis echoes an experience she once had, and memories of her mother resurface in action.
Classes and support
Class A members each have their own roles: Reina, Tonghua, Chris, and Saki each take on different skills, while Haruto commands. The academy also has a mechanical work department, and Izumi Yamamoto supports students through equipment maintenance. Training classes, regular teachers, and logistics students together make up Mihama's daily life.
Key animation, script, and music
Akio Watanabe was responsible for the key animation, Mai Nanaka was responsible for SD key animation, and Ryuta Fujisaki wrote the script. Hitoshi Fujima and Fumiki Matsuma produced the BGM, while MAGNUM was responsible for background and original weapon design. The game's theme song, Sekai no Hate, is performed by Marina Kono, with lyrics by Yuichi Kuwashima and music and arrangement by Hitoshi Fujima.
Switch version
A standalone download version was released on September 17, 2020, offering Japanese, English, and Chinese Simplified texts. The voice acting is Japanese, and the protagonist is not fully voiced; The Switch version and the later Windows Complete Box were released as different products.
