In the main Rinna's storyline, the boy Rinna searches for was the one who gave her a stone ten years ago, and it is none other than Takashi. Wataru's own stone fragment could not merge with Rinna's, which led to the revelation of the old covenant.
In Naoko's storyline, he first persuades Wataru to give up a relationship that is not meant to be. After Wataru insisted, he handed Wataru a note with the location, telling him to listen to Naoko and Tsujizaki's conversation at night; When the two finally clarified their relationship, they realized that this arrangement was also made by Takashi.
