Vertical sheet music and overlapping lyrics
When writing lyrics for the song "Refrain Chord," Katsuo Kawazumi used a twelve-track vertical score created by Youh Oyama, observing the overlapping notes at the same moment and aligning vowels as much as possible so that the overlapped voices remained combined.
Black and white themes and world language
White's songs need to maintain positive and intimate expression, while Black can use more negative and complex words. Kawazumi also discussed language with Ikuko Ebata, reducing foreign language and inherent names that did not fit the world, and organizing the expression of each song within these constraints.
