Included in the original ATRI work
Yoko Hikasa recalled that she recorded the dialogue for the original ATRI game herself, and the director did not give many detailed instructions. Catherine was not originally supposed to take on serious scenes, so she was clearly required to perform more relaxedly.
Inclusion and co-starring of the "ATRI" animation
In the recording of the "ATRI" TV anime, Hikasa prepares different ideas for improvisational segments. If she felt unsuitable after auditions, she would ask fellow actors for their opinions; Kensho Ono offered suggestions, but some of his proposals were rejected after auditions because they did not fit the character settings.
During the group recording of the "ATRI" anime, Hikasa found that some young actors were unfamiliar with the multi-person rotating microphone system. She used her breaks to gather young actors, explaining microphone positioning and script execution, helping them adapt to recording together.
According to Haruno An's recollection, in the "ATRI" anime, she used improvisational performances to enhance Ririnka's entangled interaction with Hikasa's portrayal of Catherine; One of the attempts was to get a NG.
