Setting confirmation and writing negotiations for NEKOPARA
In a 2017 interview, Seolin described writing "NEKOPARA" as first checking the foundational settings already established during Sayori's doujin period, then discussing with her how the story would unfold. He starts from the cuteness of the characters in the images, avoiding the heavy plot that obscures the experience; The script direction is formed through negotiation between both parties.
From interest-based collaboration to paid production
Seol-in recalled in 2017 that she initially offered to participate in NEKOPARA for free out of interest. After the project expanded, Sayori stated that professionals should be paid even if they create works of interest, followed by payment; Xueren sees this as a formal collaboration that requires full commitment.

Around April 2014, Seolin contacted Sayori again due to a break, and the two launched a game adaptation project for "NEKOPARA," targeting the year-end doujin convention as the release target.
After the sales of "NEKOPARA" expanded, Seolin asked Sayori if she should continue writing scripts in the original direction. Sayori answered that the content originally created according to personal preferences has been recognized, and it should continue to be created in the way you like.
