Summer vacation with strange objects

The protagonist, Soji Shotagi, is invited by his childhood friend Akemi Hiiragi to come to a summer resort. Preparing for exams was just for travel, but he had no clear goals for the future. After picking up a strange object, the holiday begins to repeat the same day, and five women and their circumstances enter his life.

Five main characters

The five women the protagonist meets are Sumika Narukawa, Akemi Hiiragi, Yukino Sawamura, Miyu Kotohara, and Sayori Kinoshita. They range in age from eleven to twenty-three, each with their own family and life troubles; Akemi and the protagonist have been childhood friends.

A day of repeated memorization and practice

This game replaces the usual text adventure option menu with memory manipulation. Players record the timing of events as the text progresses, then apply them in subsequent playthroughs to find the conditions that change the day. The game has prepared endings for each of the five characters, showing how they navigate to different tomorrows and their actions in the loop.

Repeated reading assistance

The SuperLite 1500 version offers a skip function for read events and pre-reads data during article reading. This version uses a single CD-ROM and supports single-player play, with save files occupying one PlayStation memory card space.

Platform and reissuance

The PlayStation version was released on October 28, 1999; SEGA product archives list the Dreamcast version as of August 24, 2000. SUCCESS released the SuperLite 1500 version on December 12, 2002, stating that its content was identical to the original 1999 PS version. The character design is credited by Takuya Morifuji, and the product page also features the name Takuya Futsuo.
