FILE23's compact project
In the 2023 production review, the FILE23 team explained how to control the budget with a compact ADV: Takaya Ishiyama and Gen Kobayashi first created story-driven RPG prototypes, then switched to the adventure game format Ishiyama is familiar with after entering the new production system. Kobayashi proposed an all-sky background, while Ishiyama filmed on-site in Sumida Ward, combining first-person footage with conversational structures with companions.

According to Takaya Ishiyama, "FILE38" uses a 3D seascape to allow underwater fishing to move underwater; For picture performances, the usage mode is determined first, then existing artworks are combined to control production costs.
