Release records
The song was released on CD in 2008. The singer's official site VAGRANCY released audition and related event announcements that year.
Content and inclusion
The original PC game theme song is preserved with fixed keys; KNIL's full vocal and instrumental arrangements are recorded separately.
Keywords for creation and character imagery
When Akiko Shikata created the original game theme, she obtained keywords about love from Dragon Knight 07 and used Beatrice as the character image. Later, when producing the opening theme for the anime, she wanted to preserve the atmosphere of the original song, comparing the two songs to two acts.
Quote from 'The One-Winged Bird.'
In a 2009 interview, Akiko Shikata explained that "Katatsuki no Tori" used some of the musical phrases from the original PC theme song.
