The front lines in the school after death

The story takes place on campus in the afterlife. Otonashi, who has lost his memories from his previous life, arrives here and encounters Yuri's "Dead World Front" (SSS), led by Kanade Tachibana, who is called an "Angel." The members see this campus as a space of order that should not be submissive, expressing resistance to fate through actions and pranks; After joining their daily routine, Otonashi gradually approaches the rules of this world. The work follows the anime's setting but uses longer interactive scenes to unfold campus life, musical performances, and characters' past stories in parallel.

Frontline members and different sides

Yuri is the leader of the action faction, responsible for planning the counter-Sou and also taking on the responsibility of looking after the frontline members. Kanade is taciturn yet powerful, and members of the front line often see her as an enemy; With Otonashi here, players can observe her from more scenes. Iwasawa leads the school band Girls Dead Monster, whose music is not only the content of the campus performances but also carries the characters' own expressions; Yuri is accompanied by frontline allies like Hinata and Matsushita. The game supplements these characters' facets beyond the main animation through group action and individual routes.

Progression and character changes

This is a PC-oriented text adventure where players follow Otomu to participate in campus events and enter different characters' story developments through choices. Key cited game branches including supporting traps alongside TK during guild downfall operations, keeping Iwasawa, who disappeared from the original anime, and developing a romance with Otonashi. Choosing this can alter familiar details of events and also steer character relationships in directions beyond animation.
