After the incident
Several months after the Sousei Musical Instruments incident ended, Foron and the others' academy life seemed to return to calm, but gradually began to notice discrepancies between history and people's memories. A mysterious organization appears, and Iarikke and Samon join the conflict, with the anomaly expanding from personal memories to the entire world.
Connection to the previous work
"After School" is set after the "3rd & 4th Chapter Finale" and before the novel version, filling in this unrevealed period. The basic setting of elves relying on music and Divine Comedy musicians connecting elves through contracts continues, with the story still centered on Torbas Divine Comedy Academy and its characters.
Complete edition included
The complete edition released on December 25, 2009, includes episodes 1–4 and "After School," featuring a bookmark function and integrating new CG and console port event CGs from earlier episodes. It is a limited first edition product; On the same day, the regular edition only provided the main story of 'After School.' The complete edition also comes with a complete art collection and a Lycee promotional card.
Production and theme song
Ichiro Sakaki wrote the script, Tsukinobu Kanna drew the key animation; The music credits are AmBush and Yoshida Jinro. The theme song "Straight Seeker" features lyrics by Dai Sakurazawa, composition by Jiro Yoshida, and performed by Rita. Both the standard and full editions come with a new BGM and the full original soundtrack CD of the song.
