Original demo version and Hanafuda patch
The original demo includes some main games and Hanafuda games. The official website distributed version fixed some system issues compared to the magazine's supplement edition, but the content itself remained unchanged.
The additional patch for 'Torabu Hanafuda Dochuuki EX' applies to DVD-ROM versions sold before 2018, requiring either the original limited first edition or the regular edition. The limited first edition must first be updated to Ver.1.2 before applying the Hanafuda additional patch.
The 2005 original version was updated with CD support
The Ver.1.2 announcement on December 7, 2005 states that after the update, you cannot continue directly from the location where you left off before the patch using Save&Title or similar methods, otherwise an exception will occur; You should start from Start, and your existing ticket data can still be used.
The 2005 CD support announcement also recorded that for users unable to read DVD-ROMs and thus install the DVD-ROM, DVD-Rs containing only installation data were provided. Issues that cannot pass the CD check have a separate contact point; these two types of issues are handled separately.
Additional content for the DVD version of Hanafuda
The DVD version of Hanafuda adds a patch to add three teams: Bazett and Avenger; Karen, Lancer, and the young Gilgamesh; Matou Zouken and Assassin. Each team has a Normal mode short story, with additional Noble Phantasms and appreciation images, and adjustments to MP recovery, consumption, and thinking methods.
File differences in DVD version patches
The additional file for the first edition of Hanafuda retains the name patch2.xp3, while the regular edition is renamed patch.xp3 according to instructions. The official reminder also states that DVD patches contain their respective variations, and readings are done in the order of numbering; If only patch.xp3 and patch3.xp3 are missing the middle item, only the first item will be applied.
Difficulty patch for the original PC version of Hanafuda
The difficulty reduction patch increased the MP cost of Lancer's Noble Phantasm Gáe Bolg from 3 to 6, allowing skipping Trouble and Normal modes. It belongs to the old PC version patch content.
Record corrections for Ver.1.2
Ver.1.2 modified the format of written resume records and addressed display issues caused by font size changes within a single line. The fix also included issues where newly read information and flags were not saved after returning from EXTRA to ENTRANCE, and that scene playback might cause registered appreciation images to revert to unregistered.
