2014 Vitamin Edition: Purchases and Fortune-telling at Shrines
The Vitamin version of the shrine is managed by Rin and Archer. Players can buy omitsu slips or ema (votive plaques) and divine their fortunes for the day.
Old PC Guide: Shrine Funds
Ciel d'illusion's PC strategy lists three sources of shrine funding: for each completed round in this story, you get 500 yen, even if you only advance with "Next Day"; When you draw a divine fortune lot, you randomly receive 1,000 to 10,000 yen; if you draw a 'great misfortune,' your funds decrease; Winning Hanafuda can also increase your funds, but the strategy does not specify a fixed amount.
Old PC version: Ema arrivals and condition 40
The PC strategy divides scene reading and purchasing ema into two steps: after seeing a specified scene, the corresponding ema is added to the shrine, and the displayed CG is related to that scene. For example, issue 01 requires watching both 'Decisive Battle' and 'Kitten and Justice', priced at 500 yen.
To obtain the 40th ema, the strategy requires buying all items 01 to 39 first, then buying the 40th for 100 yen. This is the prerequisite for purchasing this collectible; it cannot be replaced by simply seeing the relevant scene.
