Summer vibe and song selection competition
Yukari Tamura selected this song through a competition of songs. Although it wasn't the high-spirited style I was originally looking for, it was still chosen for its refreshing summer vibe; She asked the lyricist to briefly consider the animated story, without having to fit it perfectly.
Recording imagery and Niijima's music video
The vocal recording draws inspiration from childhood summer refreshing drink commercials. The music video was filmed on the anime's stage model Niijima, and also used schools on the island.
