Flower Burial · Dark Peach Blossom Land related to production

Ji Ling wrote scenes, moods, duration, instrument styles, and BPM requirements for the soundtrack, communicating with musicians about reference pieces and demo listens.

From comic ideas to games

Ji Ling originally designed the worldview of "Half" for the comic, but the comic was never completed. After making "Burying Flowers," he picked up this idea again and considered changing it to a game told from the perspectives of characters from different factions.

Gameplay and plot transitions have been adjusted

Ji Ling originally planned to complete the plot of "Half" himself, with newly recruited members responsible for gameplay, combining the two parts. During development, he felt that the high difficulty and strong randomness of gameplay hindered story immersion, so he tried to simplify within the existing framework.

Cave performances, music, and options

When Ji Ling designed the opening cave scene of "Burying Flowers," he used dripping sound effects and psychological details to create a narrow, dark atmosphere, then used a close-up shot passing through a white background to fade into a paradise to overlook the scene. He requested the intro to set the mood, then gradually develop variations, and used 'Wan Hua Valley' from 'Jianxia Qingyuan Network 3' as a reference for atmosphere.

After the soundtrack and images are completed, the program first produces the performance according to the music, then Ji Ling participates in fine-tuning, allowing the intro to match the dynamic visuals and the variations to the scenes to fade in. He also divides options into three levels: key plot and ending, likable or bad ending, and only rich performances. The last category is used to enhance immersion and character personality.

Use day and night demos to evaluate voice acting

When Ji Ling selected the voice team, he used the first day and night storyline of Taoyuan to produce a demo, which included several lines from almost all the main characters. The male lead is not voiced; the team wants players to embed their own voice and shape the protagonist through choices.
