Divine Comedy and Elves

The elves of this world rely on music as their source of strength. Those who can form contracts with elves and use their abilities through performance are called Divine Comedy Musicians, and the Torbas Divine Comedy Academy is responsible for training such talents. Student Folon repeatedly fails to perform smoothly and faces academic crises, but he forms a special connection with the elf Corticarte.

The first three chapters

The boxed edition includes the prologue of Episode 0, Chapter 1, and Episode 2. The prologue begins with the perspective of twins Perserte and Prinesica, who visit the academy, leading to the reunion of Folon and Corticarte. Episode 1 questions the meaning of performing divine songs; Episode 2 further depicts the interactions between Foron and Perserte, bringing the academy's crisis to light.

Characters and Performance

Corticarte is the only spirit Foron can contract with, proud and willful. His close friend Lembart and the outstanding senior Euphinley participate in academy life from different positions. The work uses a Kinetic Novel format with text, character illustrations, and music-driven progress; The boxed version includes main character voice lines, which can be controlled individually.

Versions and music

The 2005 download version only has the prologue and episode 1, with no voice lines; The BOX Edition released on April 28, 2006, included episode 2 and adjusted the performance. The script is credited by Ichiro Sakaki and Shinobu Takeno, with original artwork by Tsukinobu Kanna, and background music by Niro Yoshida. The theme song "Crimson Calling" features lyrics by Dai Sakurazawa, music composed by Jiro Yoshida, and performed by Rita. The full version and BGM are included with the original soundtrack CD set.
