A reopened cold case
On February 5, 2012, a girl named Seowon disappeared at an amusement park. After questioning witnesses and suspects, police have yet to solve the case. Twelve years after Jeon Gyeong's retirement, a young female officer came to ask her to reinvestigate. As the memories unfold, those around the girl each hide something, and judging the connections between testimonies becomes the key to investigation.
Put the testimony back where it was
The game organizes reasoning into memory puzzles: players discover clues, connect previously scattered conversations, and then continue to solve the passwords and keys. The release introduction lists 54 dialogue segments and two hidden truths, with an expected process of about two to three hours. The investigation aims to trace the details of the disappearances and understand why each person lied.

Production and distribution
The work was developed and published by Somi, with Seongyi Yi composing the soundtrack; The latter also produced music for Legal Dungeon and The Wake. The Steam version is available for Windows and macOS, and the Nintendo Switch version was released on September 19, 2024. The developer profile lists the honors he has received, including the 2024 BitSummit Game Design Award.
People and localization
Jeon Gyeong reopened the investigation into Seowon's disappearance case twelve years after retirement. February 5, 2012 was the date of disappearance, and the twelve years since retirement is another piece of time. In the Japanese version, the names Kiyosaki Sou and Saihua are used respectively.
The production of the ending soundtrack
The separate soundtrack was released on January 23, 2024, featuring only two tracks related to the ending: "Seowon" and "A Secret for You." Seongyi Yi completed composition, arrangement, piano, programming, and mixing, while Seunghyeon Kim handled mastering at MOTT STUDIO.
Story and localized production
Somi first completes the story of "The Dust Must Settle," then designs the presentation method; Translators were asked to try it out before translating, and about two days later they received feedback that moved them. The Japanese text was also reviewed by another person familiar with the game and local culture. Somi asked the translator more questions and continued to discuss the characters' tone, name pronunciations, as well as metaphors and symbolism.
