Rescue experts selected by the Luming City Fire Department through strict assessments are divided into two six-person squads, each including one driver and engineer; Watase, Kazami, and Jun are among the rescuers heading to LABO.
Protective clothing and survival after an accident
SIRIUS uses a three-layer radiation protective suit to block internal irradiation caused by inhalation, shield against radiation, and be fire- and water-resistant; The mask has built-in wireless communication, but the concealed suit restricts movement and vision. After Watase and the others entered the scene, they had to remove their protective suits due to an accident. Afterwards, they survived in the radiation space thanks to AD, and the chemicals gradually decreased as they were used.
Mutual support on site
In Route A, Kazami hides his own unease and continues to direct those trapped; Jun then offers a word of help to Watase, who has lost his memory. The captain's growth also depends on whether he can support his weary teammates in turn.
