Illustration study and entry
After graduating from high school, Yuha entered a major illustration school. In a 2011 interview, Yuba recalled that during her time at school, she was invited by members of あかべィそふとつう, which led her to join game development.
Compare the script with the key animation instructions
When Youye introduced her game production process, she used the script and key animation instructions as the basis for drawing: the screenwriter selects the location where the illustration needs to be drawn according to the project, the key artist checks the document with the story, draws the line art, hands it to the graphic staff for coloring, and finally the programmer loads it into the game according to the scene. In character design, Yuba prioritizes checking whether the visuals fit the concept and worldview, rather than just highlighting the content she wants to express.
Temporary drawing was prepared for the venue
When Ariba attended Anime Expo 2011, she was not originally scheduled for a fan draw, so she did not bring any drawing tools. After arriving at the venue, she needed to draw for the audience, so she bought some temporary tools and started drawing.
