On both sides were half-bodies of desks
The story begins with a discovered right-sided body. Six years later, the left side of the body appeared without any signs of corruption, and ABIS treated the two discoveries as the same case. The investigation gradually uncovers the crime scene, time difference, and connection to the case, forming the "Nirvana Beginning" mystery mentioned in the title.
A severed body was first found on the right side, but the other half could not be found at the time. Six years later, the left side of his body appeared, but there was no decay at all. ABIS's rookie investigator Mizuki teams up with Ryuki to investigate a serial half-body murder case from the past and present, reality and dreams.
Two main subjects of the investigation
Players follow Ryuki and Mizuki as they progress through the case. Both are ABIS special investigators, each partnering with the AI Ball: Tama, Ryuki's partner, and Mizuki's Aiba. Mizuki was a high school student who was exceptionally admitted to ABIS due to her outstanding physical abilities; Her left eye was replaced with an AI-Ball.

Investigation with Somnium
The Reality Investigation section advances through interviews with relevant individuals, on-site inspections, and clues; In the Somnium segment, investigators enter the dreams of key witnesses or suspects, using the AI-Ball's capabilities to search for information. Dream exploration and real-life testimony complement each other, forming the investigative rhythm of two main storylines.
