Arrangement and communication for "KIZUGUCHI."
When arranging "KIZUGUCHI" from "Inscribe," a.k.a.dRESS first listened to Saori Sakura's ideas for emotion, message conveyance, and visual color, then arranged the song and slightly increased the tempo.
The sequence, mastering, and rearrangement of 'Inscribe'
"inscribe" was mastered at Nogizaka Sony Studio, with Kagane, who previously worked on "Lovable," serving as engineer.
a.k.a.dRESS placed the most distinctive "Aglaia" as the opening track, then paired the strength of "KIZUGUCHI" and "nepenthe" with it; From the fourth track onward, the mastering is completed with consideration for the overall flow of the album. He described this approach as being treated more closely than a single.
He recalled that the production period was less than two months, and he still had to work alongside other projects. Many tracks labeled as remixes were actually heavily rearranged, which took a lot of time.
The vocal duo of "Aglaia."
a.k.a.dRESS created "Aglaia" for Rie Shirasawa, who is bright, energetic, and perfect for summer. He also had Tatsuya Hazuki join in singing, making both voices appear simultaneously; In my own review, this was a new attempt at vocal combinations.
Duet design for "nepenthe."
When creating "nepenthe," a.k.a.dRESS separated the vocal parts of Miwa Osaki and Tatsuya Hazuki, arranging a mutually responsive duet, which differs from the earlier many chorus singing. He also combined the concept of nostalgic ballads with digital rock.
Reference to the game's theme song and old melody
When creating "true my heart" for the PC "Nursery Rhyme," a.k.a.dRESS received requests for a style close to "kiss my lips." He also wrote "Scarlet" at the same time, so he regarded these two songs with different atmospheres as works formed in parallel.
When writing 'Sayonara no Yowarari ni' for the original PC 'Kono Aozora ni Yakusu wo', a.k.a.dRESS received a commission to sing together with friends in the protagonist's mood. He first composed the piece by playing piano as a student, but felt the first draft lacked the immaturity typical of young people, so he revisited his student demo tape and reconstructed it using the chorus of "Anata Kureta Natsu ni Sayonara" as material.
