An official novelization written by Wasabi Ono and illustrated by Shimofuri.
Content connected to the work
KADOKAWA will release it on November 29, 2025, with 328 pages and ISBN9784041168363. The synopsis unfolds the framework of Kaito and Senagi alongside the summer stories of Kanna and the intern teacher.
The starting point of novelization
In spring 2025, editors contacted Laplacian to discuss novelizing the new game; Ono then suggested adapting 'Blueprint of Daydreams.'
Rewrite it as a novel
Early novels CASE0 and CASE1 used game text. After writing other novels, Ono switched to rewriting the adaptation for this adaptation, emphasizing the pacing of the narrative.
Why start with CASE 3?
Game case numbers follow the release order of the brand's past works; For the first volume of the novel, CASE3 was chosen. Ono believed that starting from the internal order of the story was more suitable to write this segment first.
Perspective and Afterword SS
The main novel removes the female protagonist's first-person supplementary perspective from the game. The final SS 'Anna GO ni Rittte' is based on such scenes, allowing perspective shifts to occur outside the main story.
New illustrations by Senagi
The black-and-white illustrations by Shimoyuki depict scenes of Senagi enduring pain. Ono pointed out that this scene did not appear in the game version.
