A future forced to change

One Sunday before graduating from junior high, Satsuki discovers she possesses magical powers. She originally hoped for an ordinary life, even trying to deny this ability; After meeting the mysterious girl Sleep, she can no longer avoid the truth and is forcibly sent to Alice. She can release her magic, but unlike other students, she still can't make it manifest as a concrete spell, making learning and adapting to her new life equally difficult.

Magic and the concept of defects

All the girls at the academy possess psychological traits known as the "defect concept." Satsuki corresponds to the future, the body's unity corresponds to trust, and the law's reflection of magic corresponds to cooperation. Magical abilities are presented alongside how characters view themselves and how they build relationships, serving as important clues to understanding their actions.

Classmates, teachers, and visitors

Tsutomu and Satsuki entered school at the same time and quickly approached her; Izumi opposes the school's arrangement but unexpectedly reaches a conversation with the diligent Satsuki. Teacher Yayoi instructs students in using magic, while acting principal Tsumugi takes charge of affairs. Satsuki is also guided by Hazel, who is sneaking into the school, but the process involves dangerous techniques. Her calm study life gradually uncovers hidden incidents.

From concept planning to games

Illustrator Benixu began this project in 2015, initially focusing on fictional games, fictional TV, and theatrical animation settings, and later was adapted into a physical game. The new edition refreshes the world and characters, with the first physical edition released early on C101 on December 31, 2022. The theme song "Missing World" is performed by Annabel, with lyrics by Qingshi, music by Ham, and arrangement by Taishi.

Differences in magical learning

Mizuha unleashes high-output electric shocks but is poor at controlling small powers; Actual abilities are broader than the description, so they do not participate in martial arts practice. Tsumugi uses wind and immense magical power, Yayoi strengthens her body to heal her injuries, and the spring can produce steam. The conflicts of power and personality among individuals together influence school life.

Visitors and undisclosed objectives

Ash is obsessed with Ritsu and acts together with Hazel, who is undercover at the school. Hazel and Tsumugi have an old connection, and the techniques she teaches Satsuki also include danger. Sleep helps Satsuki discover magic, and the intentions and hidden abilities of the three remain unresolved in the story.

The first part was produced and released

Benio was responsible for planning and visuals, Ryoichi Watanabe wrote the script, and Kasukabe Shishio directed; The music was composed by Ham and Taishi, with independent credits for backgrounds, UI, video, and programming. The physical advance edition was released on December 31, 2022, and the download version on March 31, 2023.
