Maia changed the direction of the project
Morisaki recalls that the original concept leaned more toward comedy, and Maia only shifted to a later direction after entering the concept.
Art and interpretation alter the understanding of characters
Morisaki originally envisioned Arisu to be more intellectual and mysterious; The original animator's opinion and Komowata's SD art changed the character's image, and after hearing Rikka Kitami's interpretation, he revised his understanding of the character.
Additional scenes and multiple futures
Morisaki explained that REGRET END allows multiple futures beyond the final scene of the FD to appear within the work, and leaves the player with the judgment of which scene is the farthest future.
Character communication during recording
Morisaki said that before Maia's recording, he considered how to explain the character to Soyogi Tono, and the actual performance made him feel there was no need to explain further. This is his recollection of the original work.
