Reunion during summer vacation
Kaisho aims to become an astronaut and prepares to continue his studies in Kagoshima. During the summer festival on Tanegashima, he was introduced to Itaru Hashida through Tamoru Tennoji. Itaru Hashida claims to be visiting the island, the old members of the robotics club gather again, and the AI backup left by Kou Kimijima begins to take action again.
Life after graduation
Haixiang no longer focused solely on games like he did in high school, but began working hard for his future. Qiu Sui works part-time at the shop, has yet to decide whether to pursue further studies or find a job, and still cares about her sister and supports Hai Shou's ideals. The companions who went through crises together in the previous game now face their own paths.
Map branch
The DELUOODE MAP equipped on the portable terminal lets players choose their next location. The itinerary determines who characters meet and what activities they participate in, while map operations also serve as branches of the story. The character paths and the recurring crises together form the story.
Theme song and audio tracks
The opening theme features Zwei's song "Avant Story"; Yumi Matsuzawa performed "trust," Kanako Ito sang "Even If I Like This," and Kinomi Suzuki performed the insert song "aNubis." The original soundtrack was released on February 13, 2019, featuring new soundtrack as well as vocal tracks such as opening, ending, and insert songs.
Release
The Japanese PS4 and Switch versions were released on January 31, 2019, with bundles that pair ELITE with the game released at the same time. The updated version of the previous game and the main sequel each retain independent content.
Members who stay with the work after graduation
Subaru and Frau became the only two robot club members left. Subaru's words and actions failed to recruit new talents, but he acknowledged Frau and was dissatisfied with her attitude. Junwa joined Space Ame due to his connection with the president during his club days; After volunteering, Tao was chosen as the leader of the giant robot project and participated in the reconstruction of the Cosmic Center.
Characters still restricted after the incident
Misa is under police and public security surveillance and cannot freely leave the hospital room; Hospital information is only known to family members and a few related parties. Sawada is undergoing recuperation due to a serious injury at the expo and has not returned to the company, but secretly travels to Tanegashima.
