He took up his post in place of his grandfather

Tristia once prospered through maritime trade, but about ten years ago, a dragon attack caused the city to lose its former glory. The residents invite the legendary craftsman Prospero to help with reconstruction, but it is his granddaughter Nanoka who arrives at the port. She began working with the workshop techniques her grandfather had taught her, under the disappointed gazes of others.

Invention and urban management

The gameplay links item research, material preparation, and crafting, then sells the results to suitable shops. New products or machines can improve store operations, and prosperity will drive the emergence of surrounding areas and new stores. Players must determine sales direction based on the store's industry, level, and regional characteristics. Public facilities and citizen commissions also participate in the city's development.

Original work and anniversary works

An old announcement from Kōgadō records that the original was released on July 20, 2002. The twentieth anniversary project later released two products: Tristia: Legacy and Tristia: Restore. The Legacy website reintroduces the urban and invention management process and sets a goal for revival within one year; The Anniversary Edition's graphics and platform information should be listed separately from the earlier Windows originals.

Companions and city residents

Stuka and Tenzan are artificial lifeforms and battle golems created by their grandfather, who later took charge of protecting Nanoka. Her classmate Nene comes to the city to open a restaurant and supports the revival; The guild president, Foley, is often involved in her invention cases. The temple priest Reiglet recognized her abilities early on, and the girl Rafalu, whom she found in a chest in the sea, helped manage the workshop.

Ancient techniques

E Technology originates from the ancient Pasiate civilization, and its name comes from the emblem resembling E found in ruins. The universal crystal Orichalcon is the foundation for operating this technology, while the Prospero Workshop Technique is the application system my grandfather used to analyze ancient techniques and organize them.

Two anniversary modes

Legacy continues urban revitalization and inventive operations; Restore switches to a limited-time workshop action, where players gather materials, craft according to recipes, and deliver orders, using Belk income to upgrade tools. Both titles are part of the same anniversary project, but the stage conditions and operation flows are designed separately.

Radio, novels, and theme songs

The 2002 radio drama CD included four original stories and the song "UP TO ME!!" performed by Sakura Nogawa. Full version. The novel "Hatsumei Kobo Hoshifuri Nikki," published on October 25 of the same year, was written by Shogo Kirumi, with illustrations by Enix Publishing and illustrations by Eiji Komazu. The anniversary soundtrack is also included in 'UP TO ME!!' The full recording and newly recorded broadcast of the overclocking version.

A retrospective of the original character designs

In 2022, Eiji Komazu said he couldn't recall details of the original work; He believes that at the time, he added his own styling preferences to Nanoka and Tenzan in the basic character layout.

Restore the stages and progression conditions for the story

At the start of each level, the completion requirements must be confirmed before the time limit runs out before all conditions are met before proceeding to the next story segment and the next level. The progression of the story between stages is thus linked to whether the mission is completed.

Recover the range of items in the delivery box

The Napin BOX receives items that depend on the memo shown. Players first check the notes or recipe book to confirm the crafting method, then gather materials to craft it. After delivery, obtain Belk according to the item and use income to enhance workshop tools.
