Phenomeno Mitsuruki Yaishi wa Ai (Fearless): Key Animation
In 'Phenomeno: Yoseki Mitsuruki Isn't Afraid,' Namaniku ATK was responsible for the original artwork.
Productions related to Saya's Song
In his 2026 original work review, Urobuchi explained that Namaniku ATK accelerated character coloring production by reducing colors and drawing steps while maintaining high quality of expression.
Schedule for live coloring demonstrations
During the live demonstration at NITRO SUPER SONIC 2006, Namaniku ATK used the 'Moonlight Carnevale' incident illustration to illustrate the case. He judged that ninety minutes was not enough to complete all their work, so he prepared about fifteen minutes of color separation in advance, then advanced the character's background and shadows on stage.
From shadows to the end of the frame
This demo also shows the second half of coloring: adding highlights, adjusting line art colors, layering lighting effects, uneven background tones, and using curves for contrast. He also explained that when coloring other key artists, you need to match their artistic habits.
Transitioning key animation and color tasks
When Namaniku ATK reviewed the key animation work for Muramasa, he pointed out the difference from graphic production: after the key animation is finished, even if the CG is not finished, he needs to move on to the next task.
Characters and art collaboration in Nitroplus Blasterz
In a 2015 interview with Nitroplus Blasterz, Namaniku ATK said the project would balance characters based on weapons, speed, and fighting style; When two candidate functions overlap, one must be dropped. The duration and role division also converted some previously playable characters into support roles. He explained these trade-offs by explaining these trade-offs by comparing sword-type characters and changes in height.
When converting static PC game artwork into pixel art for "Nitroplus Blasterz," Namaniku ATK discusses item by item which accessories to retain, such as which parts can be omitted and which ribbons must be kept. Exem converted the original illustration into a 2D image and submitted it for confirmation. He then provided partial color feedback and repeatedly adjusted the basic character illustration. He believes that the third generation, Muramasa III, still closely resembles the original, and speculates that details like the knots may have been removed.
Miseimura Masaru from Nitroplus Blasterz has few referenced images in the original game, so most of the action is handled by Exemu. Namaniku ATK only provides feedback when the image deviates too much; He recalled that the character's actual movements were almost flawless.
