Blogs and homicide cases
Yuta Wamu runs "Paranormal Science Kirikiri Basara," hoping to make money from advertising revenue, but he doesn't believe the supernatural phenomena he reports. During a blog gathering activity, he discovered a corpse. After fleeing in panic, he and others got caught up in the Nigoro incident.
Investigators and information dissemination
Yuta is accompanied by the cheerful Ryoka Narusawa and Miyuu Aikawa, who does a live online fortune-telling. Magazine reporter Kiriko Sumikaze, detective Shun Morizuka from Musashino Police Station, and Sarai Hashigami, who rejects metaphysical explanations, approach information from different perspectives. Blumoon Café is the gathering place for Yuta and the others, and the owner is Kohei Izumi.
Other parties involved
Dark magic agent Aria runs a shop in Kichijoji; Doujin manga author Rika Nishizono and the mysterious Kichiyanagi Kusakabe are also involved in the incident. Chizu Kawabata is a close friend of Miyuuha, who helped her start live streaming. Each character holds different clues.
Game version with music
The game version was released on November 9, 2017, for PS4, Vita, and Xbox One. The opening features Asaka's "Play the game," and the two ending credits are Zwei's "数奇なるファクタ" and Kanako Ito's "FM-KCZ"; The latter is included in the album "One's Rock."
Vitamin Version: Blog input and tuning
The Vita version inserts SkySensor tuning into the main text: When the advance prompt turns yellow, players can adjust the frequency to read "Master Must Murder." The show has 30 episodes, and the number of readable episodes varies depending on the route. Reading is also one of the conditions for reaching the TRUE ending.
The tone and version processing of the game soundtrack
Abao Gang used reverse sound tones, especially sawtooth waves, as a feature of the game's soundtrack in 2017, and he also used this tone after the interlude of "OVSS." The divination-themed track "ARCANA" was almost entirely produced using REASON's Thor audio sources.
NOSTALGIC DAYS was produced in two versions: harpsichord and electric piano. After completing the full set of BGM, Abao produced short jingle versions for 31 tracks.
The original game soundtrack also includes a music box adaptation of the opening theme "Play the game," which Abao listed separately in the track-by-track commentary.
