Spring Academy
The story begins with the daily lives of ordinary high school students, with Akira Kamikishi, Masashi Sato, and Shiho Nagaoka being familiar companions to the protagonist. From March to April, new encounters and choices gradually lead daily life toward different love stories.
Read and branch
The game is driven by text, images, and sound, and when faced with choices, players decide the protagonist's actions and thoughts. Different choices alter subsequent events, forming multiple character routes.
Adjustments for the Windows version
The company lists PSE as a Windows product for all ages, allowing individual settings such as character voice and other environment options, as well as improved color and sound performance. Its historical specifications are for Windows 98, Me, 2000, and XP, so it cannot be used to infer real-world compatibility with modern systems.
Included mini-games
The ToHeart mini-game included with PSE released the 1.01 update, adding key reconfiguration and addressing issues where controllers could not operate on Windows XP. This is the update record for the supplementary mini-game, separate from the main storyline updates.
Version location
PSE and the 1999 PlayStation version and the later release ToHeart2 are separate products. The official website currently states that this Windows product is no longer available for sale; The old official website still retains introductions and historical updates.
