A foreign trader in love with Pauline, earnest and hard to approach, but always devoted. The original second door's public archives listed him as deceased at the age of 25, while Pauline continued to believe he was alive.
The latter part of the second gate reveals Yukimasa, the beast known as Bestea. The confusion of cognition and memory after the shipwreck led him to mistake humans for beasts; When Pauline arrives at the mansion, he mistakes her for her and kills her.
