Development arrangements within a limited stage
Before release, the two creators explained that the Goodbye Princess would finish writing first, then coordinate the material transitions, and the pencil drawing method would skip outlining and coloring. Tony further reflected in 2024, narrowing the scale of the stage and characters, concluding chapter themes, and bringing short routes back to the hub—this is the production method for controlling branch growth.
External collaboration with Pristine Cut
The console port of "Goodbye Princess: Original Cut" was managed by Serenity Forge, while Black Tabby Games' original developers reviewed the results and provided feedback. In the summer of 2024, Tony discussed metaphorical texts with translators, answered over 1,100 questions, and wrote about fifty pages of story analysis.
