Moving toward proactive singing activities
At the 2018 anniversary performance, Hoshi reflected that he was originally rather passive about singing, but the series "Harukanaru Toki no Naka de" continuously gave him opportunities to sing, allowing him to gradually appreciate the joy of singing and live performances. He later participated in large-scale stage productions.
Duet at the anniversary event
At the 2018 'Voice and Harmony' concert, he invited Mikio Sakai to perform 'Hikari' together. He was deeply impressed by Sakai's performance in the sample tape and hoped the audience would hear it too; The official report also revisited his collaboration with Hikaru Midorikawa on the duet "Reason" for the TV anime "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2."
