From ideals to the military
The official introduction focuses on Marimo's career choice: why does someone who wants to become a teacher choose military life and why does she become a strict instructor? The short story returns to the period when she still had to receive orders and training, filling in the characters from the perspective of a young soldier.
Companion: Arai
Arai and Mari also trained together, and were already engaged before enlisting. He initially opposed women going to the battlefield and often clashed with Marimo; After completing training together, the two gradually acknowledged each other's abilities. The comprehensive combat technology evaluation exercise is a key node in relationship changes.
First command and battlefield
The story continues with Marimo's first battle as the squad leader. Operation 9-6 targeted the BETA group moving toward Dalian, with the Japanese Imperial Mainland Expeditionary Force providing flank support, but was ambushed. The judgment and trust built during training are used to face real combat; Survivors must bear the loss of comrades and rediscover the responsibilities of leading soldiers.
Publication and inclusion
The first version was included in the May 2006 issue of TECH GIAN. Later, the 'Muv-Luv Alternative Chronicles' feature in the 4th phase of âge membership was included in the fully voiced version; The official "photonflowers*" page marks this phase as "FC Exclusive 2008" and once again includes the short stories in the collection.
Connection to this article
This game continues the BETA War and Guardian system from 'Alternative,' using the instructor's past as an independent story.
