"Kiss of the King" is a romance simulation game developed by Enterbrain. After summer break at Kauri Minami High School, players arrange to meet girls for about a month until the school festival, developing relationships through the choice of conversation content.

A month of campus life

The game starts with the new semester after summer vacation, setting the school festival as a phased goal. During breaks, lunch breaks, and after school, you can move around the campus to look for someone you want to meet. A limited schedule makes the meeting place, conversation, and event progression all contribute to the distance between the two.

Six main characters

Yumi Hoshino is the protagonist's classmate she pays attention to; Eriko Futami attracts attention with her outstanding intelligence and unique personality; Asuka Sakino excels at sports. Narumi Satonaka, Mao Mizusawa, and Mizuki Tajijo form the other three main character lines. The younger sister Nana can also help you understand the level of intimacy with the girl.

Match sessions

Matching sessions require players to select topics that interest the other person from different topics, and their reactions influence the atmosphere and relationships. Rather than simply choosing the location of action, players also need to observe what the other person is currently willing to discuss. The original game was released for PS2 in May 2006. Game soundtrack and character CD

Yan Chui De performed the game and composed music. The original soundtrack released on May 26, 2006, contains 33 tracks. The theme song "First Kiss" is performed by Ami Koshimizu, and the insert song "Kaurichi Minami Ondo" is performed by Ryo Hirohashi. The subsequent three character CDs mainly featured Narumi Yumi, Eriko and Mizuki, Mao and Asuka, featuring songs and character monologues, with cover art by Misaki Takayama.

Adapted from an animation

The anime "Kimi Kiss Pure Rouge" uses characters like Koichi Sanada and Ikki Aihara to develop the story, which differs from the game's protagonist arrangement.
